EASTERN CAPE STUDY TOUR REPORT: DISCUSSION

MINUTES
Members discussed the draft report of the Committee study tour to the Eastern Cape between 3-7 February 2003.
Mr van Wyk informed the Committee that the report did not record the chronological order of the places visited in the study tour. Furthermore, there was the need to deal with the recommendations in the report.
The Committee decided that the report was one-sided; it reflected visits to certain areas in more depth than others in the tour. They recommended that more information should be added to the neglected areas in the report. The Committee felt that the report could not be discussed and adopted in the meeting but only once more information had been added to the report.
The meeting was adjourned.
