The meeting was effectively postponed to the following term, owing to the high number of apologies from members of the committee who were said to be attending to other parliamentary business.
The Chairperson said that the majority of members of the committee were engaged in other meetings and that he had received a high number of apologies. He said that there was no pressure in adopting the minutes and those they could consider in their next meeting which would be in the next term. There was a programme circulating amongst members where they could put amendments as they saw fit.
The meeting was then adjourned.
