The Committee tabled the first draft of the Budgetary Review and Recommendations Report for the Department of Economic Development. It was noted that the document needed to be revised and would be considered the next day.
Meeting report
The Chairperson welcomed everyone and indicated that apologies had been tendered by
Mr X Mabasa (ANC), Mr N Kwankwa (UDM) and Ms M Mohorosi (ANC).
The Chairperson said that the Committee would only consider and adopt the report the next day. This was a first draft that needed to be revised further. She noted that there were challenges with way the report was drafted and suggested that the support staff needed to work on this.
Consideration of Committee Minutes dated 22 October 2013
The Chairperson tabled the report for consideration.
Mr F Beukman (ANC) pointed out that Mr Van Der Merwe was no longer a part of the Committee.
The Chairperson said that the minutes could not be adopted as there was no quorum.
The meeting was adjourned
