Committee Report on Strategic Planning Workshop
The Chairperson tabled the draft report on the Review of the Strategic Planning Workshop. He indicated to Members to focus on pages 31 to 39 of the document because the rest contained what the members already had gone through before.
The Chairperson further indicated it would not be possible to adopt the draft plan as the Committee had not had enough time to go through it.
Members nodded in agreement. It was agreed that the document would be adopted in the following week.
Legal Opinion on Spatial Planning and Land Use Management Bill
The Chairperson mentioned that the Committee would discuss the legal opinion by Advocate Ismail Jamie on the Spatial Planning and Land Use Management Bill. He asked the Parliamentary Monitoring Group not to document or record anything regarding the deliberations as it was an internal matter.
