Meeting Summary
The Committee met for the purpose of adopting the Road Accident Fund (Transitional Provisions) Bill which had been deliberated upon the previous day. Members were in agreement that there was no need to conduct further deliberations on the Bill. A member moved the motion for the adoption of the Bill and another member seconded the motion. The Bill was adopted.
Meeting report
The Chairperson refreshed the minds of members that the Committee had deliberated on the Road Accident Fund (Transitional Provisions) Bill the previous day and had adopted the amendment of Clause 2(1) (f) of the Bill which was the only clause that had been amended. This had now been incorporated in the updated version.
She asked if there was a need to deliberate on the Bill again.
Members generally agreed that there was no need to have further deliberations on the Bill.
The Chairperson asked if a member would move for the adoption of the Bill.
Ms N Ndaka (ANC) moved the motion for the adoption of the Bill.
Ms R Motsepe (ANC) seconded the motion.
The Chairperson thanked Members.
The meeting was adjourned.
