SUMMARY
The Committee produced an interview shortlist of 21 candidates from 68 nominees/applicants. The interviews will be conducted Monday - Wednesday 22 to 24 April 2002.

MINUTES
The Chair noted that candidate number 51 was a duplicate of number 48. Also, those names with a block next to them indicate those who have not met the requirements stated in the advertisement, and are therefore not eligible. Parties were requested to submit their lists of candidates.

There was a concern that the applicants did not have enough skill and expertise in telecommunications and broadcasting. The final shortlist of 21 names was arrived at after discussion and compromise. The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the Committee on 22-24 April 2002.
