The Chairperson tabled the first-term Committee programme for consideration. Members decided that the programme should only be considered after the President had delivered his State of the Nation Address and the Chief Whips of the different political parties had an opportunity to make their inputs.

Consideration and Adoption of the First-term Committee Programme
The Chairperson tabled the First Programme draft and opened the floor to the Members of the Committee for comments.

Members pointed out that they could not finalise the draft programme until the President of the Country had delivered the State of the Nation Address and the Chief Whips of the different political parties had had an opportunity to make their inputs.

They also agreed that the dates on the draft programme did not need to be changed and their next meeting would be on the 16^th February 2010 unless the Chief Whips decided otherwise.

The meeting was adjourned.
