The Member of the Executive Council responsible for Economic Development, Environment, Agriculture and Rural Development has published the Gauteng Township Development Bill, 2020 and the explanatory of the Bill for public comment.

Comments or representations should also address the following:
(a) Proposal on Economic Sectors that should be reserved for citizens and persons with permanent residency status; and
(b) Proposal on matters that to be addressed by Model Standard By-Laws for the development regulation of township-based enterprises.
