The Portfolio Committee on Water and Environmental Affairs invited written submissions on the Efficacy of the South Africa's Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regime from all interested parties and stakeholders in South Africa.
The Portfolio Committee therefore wishes to acknowledge receipt of your submission and your interest to participate during the public hearings which are scheduled to take place on 30 - 31 July and 1 August 2013, in Parliament, Cape Town, in the Good Hope Chamber, Good Hope Building, in Parliament (please refer to the attached programme).

Kindly note that you can assume that your paper will have been read by the time of your oral submission being made. Therefore, each participant will be allocated time to orally present the main points of his/her paper in a powerpoint presentation. The rest of time slot will be used for questions and answers (please refer to the attached programme, for your specific time allocation).
