Ad Hoc Joint Committee on Probing Violence Against Foreign Nationals

The Joint Ad Hoc Committee on Probing Violence against Foreign Nationals was established by the National Assembly on 6 May 2015 and by the National Council of Provinces on 7 May 2015. The Committee is inquiring into the incidence of violence against foreign nationals and related matters while incorporating into its work previous work done by Parliament on this matter in 2008. In order to broaden participation and improve the breadth of the oversight work and final report of the Committee, written submissions are being called for on the matter by affected parties.

Submissions should focus on verified information, underlying causes and possible solutions to such incidences of violence.
