The Minister of Basic Education, in terms of Section 3(4) and 3(4) of the National Educational Policy Act, 1996 (Act No. 27 of 1996) and together with section 6 of the South African Schools Act, 1996 (Act No. 84 of 1996), and after consultation with the Council of Education Minister, invites you to comment on the draft proposal document on the promotion and development of previous marginalised African Languages in South African Schools.
