The Standing Committee on Finance invites you to submit written submissions on the Draft Customs Control Bill
The Draft Customs Control Bill aims to:
▪ provide for customs control of all vessels, aircraft, trains, vehicles, goods and persons entering or leaving the Republic;
▪ facilitate the implementation of certain laws levying taxes on goods and of other legislation applicable to such goods and persons.
Public hearings will be conducted at Parliament on Wednesday, 30 October 2013.
