Second Adjustments Appropriation (2022/23 Financial Year) Bill (NCOP)

The Select Committee on Appropriations (National Council of Provinces) invites stakeholders and interested parties to make written and/or oral submissions on the Second Adjustments Appropriation (2022/23 financial year) Bill [B4 – 2023]. This Bill was tabled together with the 2023/24 National Budget by the Minister of Finance on 22 February 2023. The Money Bills and Related Matters Act, No 13 of 2018 requires Parliament to conduct public hearings and to report on all Bills.

The Bill seeks to effect adjustments to the appropriation of money from the National Revenue Fund for expenditure approved in the 2022/23 financial year, and to provide for matters connected therewith.

Submissions must be directed to the Committee Secretariat, Mr Lubabalo Nodada or Ms Estelle Grunewald at [email protected] or [email protected] by no later 14:00 on Monday, 13 March 2023    

Those who want to make submissions at public hearings on Wednesday, 15 March 2023 should specifically request this. These hearings will be conducted through Zoom.
