NCOP Appropriations

The Select Committee on Appropriations invites you to make written submissions on the Division of Revenue Bill [B6 - 2022] that was tabled together with the 2022/2023 Budget by the Minister of Finance on 23 February 2022.

The Money Bill and Related Matters Act, No 13 of 2018, requires Parliament to conduct public hearings and to report on the Bill. This Bill provides for the equitable division of revenue, raised nationally, among the national provincial and local spheres of government for the relevant financial year and the responsibilities of all three spheres pursuant to such division; and provide for matters connected therewith.

The closing date to make submissions or indicate your intention to make oral presentation is at 16:00 on Friday, 18 March2022.

Public hearings will be conducted virtually by the Select Committee on Appropriations on Wednesday, 23 March 2022.
