The Week Ahead: Term 1 ends for NCOP

There is a lull in the parliamentary agenda for the coming week.
The programme has a distinct end-of-term feel as members of the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) depart at the end of the week and return on 5 May.
Meanwhile, their National Assembly counterparts are in their second and final week of their constituency period and will resume next week.
Most of the business is in the committee corridor, and only one sitting has been scheduled. The upper chamber has arranged an oral question-and-answer session with select ministers in the social services cluster on Tuesday.
